Individual contributor junior to mid level in experience performing in the general system engineering role and as backup for the UAV4 technical lead. Responsibilities include:Definition of system requirementsDevelopment of system specifications and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)Conducting tradeoff analysesReview of engineering work products and other artifacts required for PDR/CDRPreparation of technical briefings and other presentation materialWork with Antenna Engineering and subcontractors on antennas and co-site interference mitigation module designsTechnical / Domain Skills (Required):
General System Engineering expertiseRadio communications/RF propagation experienceAntenna theory and design experienceExperience solving cosite interference issues on small platformsWorking knowledge of the military systems acquisition processProject / Leadership Skills (Required):
Experience preparing technical inputs to RFP packages and evaluating vendor proposalsExperience working with subcontractors/managing subcontractor technical efforts.Education
Bachelors of Science degree in a relevant engineering discipline and a minimum of 5-8 years of System engineering experience.
